our roots

Blue Cake House is a family business with over 30 year’s experience in gourmet cakes.  Both the business and creative aspect has been passed down from Master Baker, Manuel Castañeda, to his two daughters, Pilar and Sally.  Pilar works on both the business and creative, while Sally is the artist whose vision brings each piece to life. 

The family has expanded to include, brother and sister, Marlon Gonzalez and Elisa Beristain who bring additional business and customer service experience to the team.  Both have an entrepreneurial background that comes from their mother, a restauranteur in Mexico.  Elisa is also passing the torch to her son, Kevin, who utilizes his sales and retail background to support the team.

It's no wonder that we see our customers as part of our family and take pride in bringing them joy by providing excellent customer service, attention to detail, using fresh, high quality products, and innovation in our approach to the art of baked goods.
